Geoff hopes to be part of National Lobby to Parliament in March on the Care Crisis

Geoff in his role as a former Trustee of Age Concern Cambridgeshire, Health and Socialcare Scrutiny Committee Chair and former Lib Dem spokes on Social Services at Shire Hall hopes to join the National Lobby organised by Age UK at Westminster Hall in early March which aims to raise concerns about the state in which the Care System is in across the Country and Lobby MP’s from the Secretary of State downwards – in bringing those worries right to the seat of power.

There is absolutely no doubt that this is the largest single issue facing millions across the UK currently and we need Government to ensure that a new Policy document comes forward with real actions attached to it – as promised now by a range of Governments over the past two decades or more, they all talk and then duck taking the very serious decisions that need to be taken. I am hoping very much to be able too meet with Andrew Lansley my MP and the Secretary of State for Health.
