Cllr Geoff Heathcock

Liberal Democrat County Councillor for Queen Ediths division

Geoff presses for action on a number of local highway issues

Geoff has made a number of representations in recent weeks concerning problems both in Hills Road, Long Road and Queen Ediths Way to County Highway Officers – including damage to railings in the pedestrian haven near Long Road Sixth Form College, the area near the junction with Hills Road where bollards and lights have been damaged and also where repairs were carried out in 2011 on Queen Ediths Way near the junction with Chalk Grove where parts of the road have collapsed again due to frost. He has had assurances from Whittlesford office – that all of these are either in hand, on order or due to be carried out in the new financial year.
