Geoff’s efforts over a few months to persuade the County Council to trim back significantly the amount of vegetation on the raised roundabouts at Fendon Road and Mowbray road has brought a positive response from County Safety officers who agree with him – that the present height of the vegetation is a hazard. Some work has been carried out in the last few days and more is planned in the near future. This is both common sense and necessary if we are to help local residents get across these busy parts of the road network.
